Domains & DNS
Manage DNS records
Use Qwibik Cloud to manage DNS records for domains using Qwibik-managed DNS.
DNS records connect a domain to services such as a website or mail provider. You can manage records in Qwibik Cloud when the domain uses Qwibik-managed DNS.
Before you begin
Open the domain in Cloud and check its nameserver configuration. If the domain uses custom nameservers, DNS is managed by the provider configured for those nameservers rather than in Qwibik Cloud.
Add a DNS record
- Select the Organization that owns the domain.
- Open Domains and select the domain.
- Open DNS Records.
- Choose the record type, such as
A,AAAA,CNAME,TXT, orMX. - Enter the record name and content, then select Add Record.
Remove a DNS record
Select the delete action beside the record and confirm the removal. Removing a record can interrupt a website, email, or another service that relies on it.
Troubleshooting
If Cloud says DNS is managed externally, update records with the DNS provider for the configured nameservers. If a record does not appear to work, confirm the name, record type, content, and the service provider's required value.
